Adult learning is not an easy task, particularly at the end of a long day.  Studies have shown that to engage adult learners, the teaching and subject need to be practical, relevant, task oriented and self-directed. Goal orientated learning is generally based on assessment of past experience and future skill needs.  Andragogy is the theory, methods or techniques used to describe adult learning needs, it is neatly encapsulated in the following diagram:

ACAM financial members can also take advantage of FREE access to CPD-accredited educational options:  The ACAM Motivated Patient Examination and the ACAM Ethics Examination are included in your membership. 

Older and historic Fellows are welcome to sit the re-accreditation examination, which will be become standard in the next couple of years, as a methodology to demonstrate the, high academic standard of our College and its Members.
