ACAM Nurse Associate
ACAM has designed a unique nurse associate educational pathway that is delivered in conjunction with the University of South Wales, offering the opportunity for nurses to gain internationally recognised qualifications in the area of aesthetic medicine.
The ACAM Nurse Associate pathway is holistic and unique; the skills learnt highlight the minimum expected skill base ACAM identifies as required to provide aesthetic services and include ethics, infection control, facial and neck anatomy as well as practical treatment skills.
All learning is CPD accredited, ensuring that your education of recognisable value.
Register to become a member, and pay for membership.
You will need a copy of your current registration to complete your application.
Note:
- You must a registered nurse with APHRA and have no conditions on your registration.
- You must ensure that you can provide a certificate of currency from your medical/nurse defence organisation that covers the procedures and treatments that you conduct.
- You must have a minimum of two years experience and have completed basic injecting training in Australia.
Once your membership is approved, you can then apply to complete a fellowship educational pathway. All ACAM fees must be started before you can access the ACAM education and examinations. University fees are a separate concern and not paid for via ACAM.
On successful completion of the requirements of your chosen pathway, whilst maintaining financial membership, you will be invited to be recognised as a Fellow by ACAM.
