Those in NSW know that the new guidelines for the supervision of delegated injectors began on the 1st of September 2021. These guidelines include the storage of medications, patient review interval and changes to standing orders (now valid for six month periods).
The NSW Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Amendment (Cosmetic Use) Regulation 2021 has been published, and the regulation came into force on the 1st of September 2021. There are substantial penalties for non-compliance. Please make yourself familiar with the changes.
